Sift your own flour at home in just minutes with this stainless steel tamis/sifter! Sifting through the 50 mesh tamis will produce very fine high-extraction flour. The exact extraction depends on what type of flour you're sifting. We find you generally produce flours in the 75-82% extraction range with this particular mesh, perfect for removing a significant portion of bran and germ and leaving behind very fine flour.
Use: simply shake the sifter back and forth over a large metal bowl. Because of the fineness of the 50 mesh, sifting can take a bit of work with this tamis.
